Julia Oswald is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of experience caring for patients across primary care, urgent care, occupational health, and other outpatient settings. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and brings extensive experience evaluating and treating both acute concerns and ongoing health conditions.

After years of caring for patients in fast-paced healthcare environments, Julia founded Oswald Health with a simple goal: to provide primary care that feels personal again.

Her approach focuses on taking the time to listen, understand the whole picture, and work collaboratively with patients to develop realistic care plans that fit their individual health needs and goals. She believes good primary care should go beyond treating an illness when something is wrong—it should help patients understand their health, identify risks early, manage chronic conditions effectively, and feel confident about the decisions they make along the way.

At Oswald Health, Julia provides personalized primary care including preventive and annual wellness visits, women’s health and Pap screenings, chronic condition management, medication management, acute illness visits, laboratory and diagnostic evaluation, health screenings, and ongoing preventive care.

Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, hypertension, diabetes and prediabetes, cholesterol management, thyroid disorders, women’s health, weight-related health concerns, and helping patients navigate the often confusing process of understanding laboratory results, medications, screenings, and healthcare recommendations.

Above all, Julia wants her patients to feel heard, respected, and involved in their care. She strives to create an environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and where healthcare decisions are made together—not rushed through.
